The mindless rantings of a filmaholic.
And the anguish I no longer must endure.

Ever since I got back from Guelph, I've had a jonesin' for some Zuma. Jess and Tama finally lay the blame on me for disrupting their lives, and frankly I'm glad the curse has finally found a home. I love that game, and I'm not afraid to share the, "joy?"

When we were walking around Watson, I could hear the "rewind" sound and the ever increasing clink of disappearing Zuma balls from other rooms. I tried to hold back my laughter as Tink asked Hairman, "Have you got the full version yet? Or did I send it to you already?" She's the pusher. I'm the manufacturer and she deals. It's a charming little relationship we've created.

Ever since yesterday, and the crappiness of living, I decided that I would return to the colourful world of Zuma, and try to take a picture of the ominous "Level 13." When I was in Guelph, I heard that Jess was stuck at 12.4, a bitch of a level, and that Tama and Tink were on their way. I had made it to 13 once, and clearly remember the spacy badness with it's lack of a track. I decided that I would go back into Zuma, and play until I got to 13, snap a pic, then walk away. This was much harder than it seemed. I had to play 5 games before I got to "Zuma Exodus." Today, however, after only 2 games, with all of my lives, I was blessed to reach the end. I've played the game so many times, that now I can get to 12.4 without losing a life, and I can handle the others with maybe only 1 loss.

When I got to "Zuma Space," which I am convinced never ends because I played this level for 7 minutes before perishing, I almost forgot to take a picture, but thankfully we got it.

12.4 is a bitch-whore of a level! I'm starting to have Zuma freak-outs again which haven't happened since 9.4. Today I beat 12.4 and then died on 12.6. SO PISSED! my computer took a streak of verbal abuse.

I found out that after 12 there are 3 more levels of the game, but it wont let you save at any point.

FYI... When you save a game in Zuma (when you exit or go to the main menu, Zuma automatically saves your current game) a file called adv1.sav is placed inside the following folder C:\Program Files\PopCap Games\Zuma Deluxe\userdata When I get to a new level I save the game by going to the main menu, copy the adv1.sav file to my desktop, then return to the game. When I die, I copy the adv1.sav file from my desktop back into the userdata folder. That way I can keep playing the same level without having to play all the previous levels. Enjoy!
