I am a booby free link.

Ever since we got TMN, I’ve been trying to keep of all the mini-series, series, and specials, that come and go. I missed the early chapters of some of them, and was unable to get into the story (The Sopranos), some i jumped right in, and kept watching (Slings & Arrows). There were a few, that I didn’t like at all (Curb Your Enthusiasm, Angels in America), and some that I loved (Band of Brothers, Dead Like Me). Recently, I have become fixated on the show “Family Business.” It’s a reality-based show, where the camera follows around Adam Glasser. Who is that? And why would I watch it? Well Adam Glasser has an “alter ego.” That ego, is Seymore Butts, one of the most successful adult film directors in the world. Going into the first episode I was looking for one thing, and one thing only....well, actually a pair of things. It was only after watching the brief interviews with “Seymore,” that I realized how nice this guy was. He runs his “Family Business,” with his mother, and his cousin Stevie, who looks like the old pervert at the mall. After listening to some of Stevie’s interviews, I discovered he is one of those perverts at the mall.

The beauty of the show, is in the realization that this guy, is the same as any other guy. In one episode we see Adam going on an endless stream of blind dates, only to be shot down every time, once he discloses his occupation. By the end of the show, you can’t help but feel really, really bad for this guy. He’s just trying to make a living, like the rest of us, and the way he interacts with his son, is heartwarming. He truly loves him, and does everything for him, that’s within his capability. My current, favourite episode, is where Adam attends his high school reunion. The expressions from his former classmates are hilarious. Half of the women cringe, and the other half stare at him blankly. As for the guys, most of them simply reply, “You’re Seymore Butts....NO WAY!”

In last night’s episode, he dealt with a young starry-eyed Canadian girl, who had aspirations for being in the industry. After she told him, that her parents would be horrified if they found out, he did his absolute best to try and discourage her, from joining the industry. He pulled out every stop. Taking her to the worst sets, he had ever seen, talking to the big stars, and how long it took for them to get where they were, and by sitting her down, numerous times, to tell her she just shouldn’t join. She remained persistent, but in the end he convinced her to go home, think it over, and talk to her parents before she made any decisions.

If you can stand partial nudity, and the occasional explicit situation, I would highly recommend this show. If you can’t, get a friend to tape it, and cut out all the naughty parts. Even if you have to shield your eyes, take a look at “Family Business.” It’s worth the risk.

I've been watching your show and I never miss an episode. I like the fact that it is very honest and nothing is hidden from the audience. Your son is absolutely adorable and he is so intelligent. I never hear you mention his mother. Does she see him? If she doesn't she is missing out on so much. I have a twelve year old son and they are very much alike. On the episode when you went out on all those blind dates, I felt so bad for you. So you have a business that is mostly different from what a lot of people do. My father told me when I was growing up never be ashamed of the job you do as long as your making your way in the world and you like what you do. I have never seen any of your movies, I'm ashamed to admit, but I will now. I can tell from the show that you're a good director and a good person. I don't feel pornography is degrading to women. I definately get turned on when I watch it. Well, I think that's enough for now. You can write back if you like. I would definately like to hear from you. I live in Washington State and I just turned 37. Take care and I will definately be in front of the tv for the next episode.
