The mindless rantings of a filmaholic.
Another Brilliant Investigation Produced Through Boredom

Are you a psychopath who occasionally watches movies? Do you feel like your life doesn't have enough mindless information? Well, look no further because I, Film Fanatic, have found a way to waste your time, and create a special bond with that very special movie. As I was strolling through the databanks of information at Internet Movie Database, I came across their movie listings arranged by year. I thought nothing of this, but decided to check out what movies came out in my year of birth. Good ol' 1985. I was amazed to see that all of the movies were arranged by chronological order, and even included the RELEASE DATES! I must tell you, it wasn't long before I was scanning along a blurred list of films until I arrived at the release date closest to my birthday. What movie was that? Was the basis of the movie a reflection of my current life, therefore, sending shivers down my spine?

Well, yes and no. The lead character in my movie did have a strong resemblance to my personality, but there were no shivers, because it was portrayed by Chevy Chase. It was Fletch.

If you want to search for your Movie Birthday, Click Here, then enter your year of birth over the dollar signs in the address bar. Then you choose which country you would like to search under, and BAM instant time-wasting. Enjoy.

This is a pretty cool idea.

Unfortunately the film closest to my birthday is Bloody Mama, a Roger Corman epic about gangster Ma Barker. (SIGH)

Maybe I'll fudge it a couple days and claim Woodstock. Yeah, that's the ticket... My movie birthday is Woodstock.

Dang, while I was in the theater watching Psycho II, Teegstar was being born. That won't make you feel old.
