The mindless rantings of a filmaholic.
I feel like I work at Blockbuster.

Well If I'm diligent about this, it might actually turn into something worthwhile, but most likely, I'll forget about it.

This weeks recommended viewing comes from the director behind Memento, which he wrote, and Insomnia, which I both own. The film is called "The Following." Christopher Nolan's first feature film is about a writer, who follows people on the street with hopes that he will find inspiration in their daily activiities. One man, confronts him about his "hobby" and confesses that he is a theif, and would like an extra hand in his pursuits. The film is shot in black and white, and, I fear, if it were in colour, it would have lost a lot of the edge that this sharp movie runs on. It has one some awards, but if you really want to feel high and mighty in front of your friends, watch this movie. When Nolan's highly-anticipated "Batman Begins" is released in 2005 (GO CHRISTIAN BALE!! I'LL NEVER FORGET NEWSIES!!!), you can always say you've known about Nolan for ages. And if the movie sucks, you can say nothing.

Now listen carefully cause I'm not going to explain this damn movie again!
