The mindless rantings of a filmaholic.
DUN DUN DUN!!!

Carleton

The fact that they replied first, scored them some posts, and with the amount of information that they sent me. I also liked how last year they phoned me if I had any questions, and I ended up talking to this guy Doug. I informed Doug of my academic status, and Doug actually phoned back twice and left a message of support, wishing me luck in my final term. Doug was nice. I feel very comfortable with Carleton, yet I've never been there, and it's too fucking far away. Now we wait for the other 6 to reply, and I hope I don't get anymore stupid letters from universities promoting their "Criminal Science" Program. If I've ALREADY applied for Film, what are the odds that I would want to switch to "Criminal Science?" At least offer stage or television production, but not Cadaver 101.

Now I cross off one of my life's goals.

And with guaranteed Rez to boot.

Carelton's in Ottawa, right? And that other school that is promoting their criminal science... that wouldn't happen to be Trent, would it? It's a madhouse around here, with their p.r. group trying to lure in businesses and investors to help pay for their multimillion dollar expansions. Even if it isn't Trent, last year's SuperBuild effort gave lots of schools money to help build for new programs... too bad they didn't really do a lot of research about what was really needed.

Yeah, Carleton is in Ottawa, and so very far away from my city of lights and sounds. Brock was offering the Criminal Science program.

I am still amazed that Universities have not put their multimillions towards something valuable and necessary: Hammocks!
