The mindless rantings of a filmaholic.
and help me make up my mind.
Published on March 24, 2004 By Phantom of the Night In Life Journals
I am now taking a poll between now (3:18PM) and tomorrow at 1PM. I have not been to the cinema in a long time, and there are many movies that I would like to see. Since I am lacking in the finance department, I will only see two. Please help me decide which ones I should see, because I would have gone today, but I couldn't make up my mind. The movies are:

The Barbarian Invasions

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

Starsky & Hutch

The Passion

Dawn of the Dead

Taking Lives

NASCAR 3D

LOTR: Return of the King

House of Sand and Fog

I will go see whichever two get the most votes. If no one votes, then I'll just stay home and play video games.

Starsky and Hutch!!! I went to see it and thought it was all right. I didn't hate it, but it wasn't the best EVER. Anyhow, it was pretty good. My mom liked it too when she went to see it. So there's my vote!!!

And, on a weird note, I dreamt last night that some of my friends went to see Taking Lives and that it REALLY sucked. So, who knows? And if u do go to Taking Lives, let me know whether it really is bad.

Most definitely, see LOTR. It is an amazing movie, and well worth the money.

As for the other choice, I'd go with an array of 3: Starsky, The Passion, or Eternal Sunshine. I want to see all 3 of those, and i haven't yet.

Starsky and Hutch.

Go and see it especially if you liked Zoolander... Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller are dynamite together

BAM!!!

LOTR!!! Loved it! A lot of entertainment for your money too (3hrs long!) I am hoping to see Dawn of the Dead tomorrow. I haven't seen any of the others that you listed.

I saw LOTR 2 days ago and it was really worth it, specially in a movie theater, if you wait to see it on TV you won't understand why any battlefield from now will have to work really hard to match that.

I don't know for the others. I wouldn't pay to see the passion, I don't like funding fanatic but I'm curious. I would go for ethenal sunshine of the spotless shine, I just like the title.

As barbarian invasion is the following of a another movie, you should check the first

good luck

Eternal Sunshine is supposed to be amazing, well-written and thought-provoking. (a shake your foundation kinda flick.) If you haven't seen LOTR go see it! If you have and just want to see it again... there's no shame in admitting it. If you don't really give a damned at all about it, I'd suggest House of Sand and Fog. Kingsley is supposed to be great.
Looking forward to a possible review or two.
