Where Does The Cookie Go?

I was about to submit a blog tonight about my night out, and how good my dinner was. I realized that most of the post had drifted away from a "Life Journal" perspective, and "stuck" to more of a Food Review. I figured that this would go under a Food and Drink category but didn't find one.

Now I wasn't fully expecting to find a selection titled, "Food Review," but I couldn't really find anything related to food. While this might not be a problem for most of you, it presents a dilemma for me. I love to eat. I love the smell of food, the look, the presentation, and of course, the taste. If the Red Horned Man tells me that I became victim to Gluttony, so be it. It was worth it. Eating is one of those things that I like to do all the time.

It was only last week, when my mother made fun of me because I told her that I finished off the box of maple creme cookies when I was in the shower. I ate 5 cookies while I had a shower before work, and she acted like I had ran around the neighbourhood naked singing "I'm A Little Teapot." I didn't see what was so bad about it. In fact, I didn't see ANYTHING wrong with it. Why can't I eat in the shower? It's not like I'm swimming, and have to worry about cramps.

To explain, I had bought a new conditioner, and it said that I should leave it in for about 4 minutes. In the shower, that can seem like an eternity, so I brought a snack to pass the time. I was careful enough to not let any soap or conditioner get near my food, and aside from my slightly moist fingers, the food never got wet. So where's the problem?

So, in a roundabout way, I was disappointed to not find any topic that dealt with food. I had an amazing Sushi dinner tonight, which was my first real "authentic" sushi experience, and I had to nowhere to post it.

I guess if I'm going to use a system like Joeuser, I shouldn't chastize it for not being particular for every user. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of Joeuser. I just wish there was a topic for the gluttons.
