Well, it's that time of year for me to make a list of items that I will never get, and work my ass off after christmas to afford. We start with the most cherished possessions.

THE FILMS: (in no particular order)
1984
Equilibirum
Duck Soup
Horse Feathers
Day at the Races
Night at the Opera
The coconuts
Anybody seen my gal?
Sailors Beware
Fixed Bayonets
East of Eden
A Clockwork Orange
Wizard of Oz
Yellow Submarine
Full Metal Jacket
Se7en
12 Monkeys
Snatch
Half-Baked
The Following
Dogma
Chasing Amy
An Evening with Kevin Smith
American Psycho
Evil Dead 1, 2
Army of Darkness

OOooooo that was fun. and about 40% shorter than last year. We now move on to music.

THE MUSIC: (Oh baby, the sweet sweet nectar of the gods that pierce my ears with hair-raising intensity)

Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd
Echoes - Pink Floyd
Kylie - Kylie Minogue
Van Halen Best
Van Halen
Van Halen II
Led Zeppelin Early and Latter Days
Black Sabbath - We sold our soul for rock and roll
Black Sabbath - Never Say Die
Black Sabbath - Paranoid
Red Hot Chili Peppers greatest hits
Beatles anthologies vol. 1,2,3
rolling stones records (any, just gimme gimme gimme)

Finally we come to the odds and ends. These are normally the most expensive items and this year is no exception. this section (mostly the guitar and camera) came in at around $1100.

cables for vcr hookup to computer
Ozzy and Pink FLoyd t-shirt from HMV
XIII for PC
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City for PC
Freddy Kreuger doll

Books:

Simulacra and Simulation
Guitar for Dummies
Idiot's Guide to Philosophy

And the most expensive Items:

the electric guitar with amp (GIMME A STRAT BABY!)
video camera

I don't think there's a christmas tree in Toronto big enough to store all of that underneath. Maybe I should add a Hagrid sized stocking or tree. Oooo I want more Harry Potter for Christmas. Damn you Rowling!...ending before a war. That's not a cliffhanger, that is blasphemous. FLASHBACK

From this day forward I will always remember my Summer of Snape.
