Well the weekend was a blast. Not only do I get free food, but I get Tink. My bus ride up was fun. I love to ride buses. There’s just something about traveling that gets me all excited. I think it’s just sitting in those seats. I get excited when I sit in fancy seats. Restaurants, movie theatres, buses, limos; they all have fancy seats, and I get excited every time. Come to think of it, I always seem to notice the chairs in movies. Just today when I was watching episode two, I cracked my chair joke, as the teardrop seats descended from the ceiling. Ya know.....at the clone war factory? The chair joke, by the way, is from Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie: “Ya know, our chair technology is light-years ahead of yours.” It never gets old. I don’t know why.
So the bus got me into Guelph at 11:45am. Tink got out of her class at 1pm, so I had some time to kill. I decided I would read my 3001 book (it’s lookin kind of stupid so far), but after 20 minutes of mind-numbing noise in the University Centre, I went for a walk. At first, I was just trying to find her building, but like always, I had to play a certain game. The name? The name’s “Game, Spy game.”
Now for some odd reason, I have not grown up. I still laugh at booby. I still like the fart noise, funny sounds, waving my arms for no reason, and playing “pretend.” It happens every time I see a movie, regardless what the movie is. If I really like it, I pretend for a long time. I thought I was Paul Walker walking through the Bloor Manulife building for about an hour after “The Fast and the Furious,” but I think it took me about a month to stop being Tyler Durden. I still have some Narrator moments, now and then.
So there I was, scoping out Guelph. Checkin’ for security cameras, looking for escape routes, hiding behind parked cars when patrol cars drove by; the good stuff. I even started following people, and almost walked in on a class. Eventually 1 came, and the night was great, except I was bean-tired (I don’t know where that came from.).
The bus ride back was fuckin amazing!!!! Firstly, I get on the bus with three other people. A red-headed guy, and myself, discover that there are no more seats on the bus. Well, now what the fuck do I do? We tell the bus driver and he says that the bus following us is also going straight to Toronto and we can get on that one; it’s empty. So the next stop arrives, and we follow the driver out. We start to slow down as we notice a line of about 20 people, waiting for that bus. The driver tells the other driver, and says “Come on.” We end up getting on the bus first, with choice of seat. I LOVE CHOICE OF SEAT! Not only do I get a window seat, but there is on one around me! I had a sweet bus ride, looking out at the passing portrait (I never get tired at looking out the window), listening to Dark Side of the Moon, and falling in and out of consciousness. On the way up, I listened to “The Shawshank Redemption” soundtrack, mainly because I watched the movie the night before as I organized my CDS. Organizing is fun! We’ll get into the sheer greatness of that soundtrack later, for now, it is 2:30 in the morning, and I need to work tomorrow.
I wish I could blog in my sleep.
