I Can't Do it Captain!
Published on February 4, 2004 By Phantom of the Night In Blogging
After realizing that I had to read through each blog to find each reference, I glanced over and saw I had 79 articles. 79!!!! How did it get so long? Well FUCK THAT! I’m not reading over 79 articles, full of information I already know. Unh Unh. Not gonna do it. I decided that I’d go halfway and make a list of references in my titles. Some are blatantly obvious, some aren’t. This is the most effort that I decided to give. I also vetoed my plan to reference each article a week later. First off, it would look like I’m just posting comments to make points. Secondly, by the time one week rolls around, that article is going to be so buried, that no one is going to care, including me.

My oh my, this must be a sign. It seems the text file I saved the info in, is gone. Turn around, and POOF! It’s gone! Well I suppose that this will be my first pointless blog. I’m sure it won’t be my last.

Lastly, does anyone in the Joeuser universe know what this Topic menu in the posting area is for? Everywhere I click it just says General Discussion. Are there other choices?

I don't think that any of your articles is going to be buried. When you are in "my blog" go down and select 'Next'. You should see the previous article.

I don't know what is general discussion, It seems to me that it's new.

Yes. JoeUser now supports subcategories.  For example Politics now has subcategories for Democrats and Republicans.   You can post directly into those sub categories or directly into the Politics 'General Discussion'.  So General Discussion is really just posting directly into the root channel/category/forum.

ahhh ok. I haven't mingled in the Politics section yet, so that might be why.
