Only if he plays the ace, that I am certain is up his sleeve. You wait and see. 5 days before election, he will announce that Osams Bin Laden has been captured. I believe he has already been captured, and Bush is just holding him in secret, until the polls take a nose-dive. Nobody can find Osama, because nobody is looking in the basement of Langley.
I will admit I have not been following the presidential running as closely as others on this site. I can state for a fact, that there are others on this site who are more informed than myself, but I am not oblivious. Bush is not the greatest president in U.S. history, and I'm not the only one who believes this. If you google
"miserable failure," you will find yourself at the president's biography. I think that Bush has made some poor decisions, and even some ludicrous ones, but I don't consider him to be a failure. The leader of a nation that powerful, should be respected, and feared. The latter, he has achieved, with honours. I, personally, am frightened sometimes by his judgement.
Bush isn't as bad as everyone says. He just makes a lot of mistakes. His "I consider myself to be a follower of American politics." comment concerning the California gubernatorial race, his constant resemblance to a chimp, and the endless photos of him displaying minimal intelligence (my favourite is the photo of him looking through binoculars, with the caps on) aren't very flattering. I don't think a president should make mistakes, but what can we do. He was elected through the system. A system developed by America, for America. I'm not going to say, "It is time for you to deal with your own horrid creation," or "He was elected fair and square. He was the best candidate." But I'm not going to say either of those. Why? Because I'm Canadian. There's an idiot running
my country, so if you don't mind I'll deal with mine before I worry about yours.
