Last night, I went to pick up my mom from work. We left her office around 11 and decided to pick up some food on the way home. I was in the food for fries, so I suggested Harvey's, knowing it was her favourite fast-food chain. We pulled into the parking lot, after I glanced at an attractive woman outside the door, talking to a guy. The guy walked away, and we got out of the car to get our food. As we passed the woman, I noticed a strong smell of expensive perfume, and the fact that she was pu...
Last Thursday, my friend Timo came into town. Timo has been a best friend to me since I was a very wee lad. Timo and I have always gotten along, mostly due to our lack luster luck with the ladies. I was humiliated in grade 3 by a girl that I asked out, and for the rest of public school, every girl knew about it, therefore eliminating my quest for a lady. Timo never asked anyone out. Nowadays, we still get along but not as well. When we see each other, we're normally in the mood to party, ...
I currently have four create new article windows open, and I can't get a word out edgewise, so I've decided that I'm going to go walk in the rain. That should cheer me up. Not to mention wake me up. Maybe I'll do a little Gene Kelly on Woodbine.
I am now taking a poll between now (3:18PM) and tomorrow at 1PM. I have not been to the cinema in a long time, and there are many movies that I would like to see. Since I am lacking in the finance department, I will only see two. Please help me decide which ones I should see, because I would have gone today, but I couldn't make up my mind. The movies are: The Barbarian Invasions Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind Starsky & Hutch The Passion Dawn of the Dead Taking Lives ...
Sir Peter has challenged me to a duel on "horseback" for Urban Faery's love. I was just wondering what I would do for the next couple of days, but now I know. It is time to crush Sir Peter, with limited ease I might add. "Sir Peter" is an old businessman, and I'm a young verile man, and If I chug a rum and coke, I will be fearless! Sir Peter, I find your challenge ridiculous, and only an oppurtunity where you will get hurt, so of course, I accept. However, I have some demands that must be met...
Carleton The fact that they replied first, scored them some posts, and with the amount of information that they sent me. I also liked how last year they phoned me if I had any questions, and I ended up talking to this guy Doug. I informed Doug of my academic status, and Doug actually phoned back twice and left a message of support, wishing me luck in my final term. Doug was nice. I feel very comfortable with Carleton, yet I've never been there, and it's too fucking far away. Now we wai...
Its been a helluva last two days, and I cant wait to post the mishaps that I have fallen into, and the exciting task that I have crossed off of my life's "TO DO LIST." I would love to post them right now, but i won't. I'm too tired.

In the past few weeks, I've seen some good movies, and I've seen some stink burgers. These two are so bad, that I've decided to put all of my rotten eggs in one basket. About a month ago, I rented The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen with Sean. We watched it, then we sat there, wondering what the hell we just spent 5 bucks on. The action is fine and dandy. Guns are blarin’’, cars are speedin’’. As for the rest of the movie, uhhhhh, not so good. First off, the story is absolutely lu...
I would just like to go on the record, and state that an error was made in my post "I Want To Live On The Dark Side Of The Moon." In the hidden message on Aussie Floyd's logo, I stated "The Best Thing To Come Out Of Australia Since Paul Hogan's Hat!" This is completely false. I find it hard to believe that I forgot about the lovely Kylie Minogue. She brightens my days, and intoxicates my ears. I won't change the hidden message because: A) I don't think I should cover up a mistake of tha...
It's taken 6 long months, but I have finally beaten Return to Castle Wolfenstein. It was the first real game that I got for my new computer, and I loved every little bit of it. For the first two months, I religiously played it every day, sometimes until 2 or 3 am. I love WWII simulation games because not only do you get to immerse yourself in the past, but you also get a brief history lesson about the weapons, vehicles, locations, and military plans during WWII. You also get the added bon...
I've decided to even out the posts by making a small post to level out with my Floyd concert review. Ever since I discovered Backgammon on my new cell phone, I have been in love with the game. I consider it the step down from chess, because it seems to be one of those "civilized" games that old people always play. It does involve some strategy, but the game involves dice, so naturally, it is mostly based on Lady Luck. Every time I'm on the subway and I don't have anything to read, I play ba...
On Saturday night I went with Tink to go see Aussie Floyd at the Hummingbird Centre. Aussie Floyd is a Pink Floyd tribute band. I was listening to Q107 last month, on my way to work, when the disc jockey mentioned the upcoming concert. I've been listening to Q since I was a wee lad, and I knew that the jockey was a big Floyd fan and when he said that "this was the closest thing to Floyd itself," I knew I had to see this concert. I told Tink that my Valentine's Day gift to her, would be to...
The ruling force of my television continues to be "Match Game" on Game Show Network. Apparently they show all 3 versions of the show, but I really like to watch Match Game P.M. The 90's one sucks because it doesn't have any of the elements that made the originals so great. When you've got Brett Somers, Richard Dawson and the amazing Charles Nelson Reilly, the responses to the simple fill-in-the-blank questions are still funny, decades later. The show is about having the cont...
