There has been much on my mind, since this infernal bucket of bolts went haywire. I have movie reviews to write up for 50 First Dates, Willard, The Core, The League of Extraordinarily (Stupid) Gentlemen, Bowling For Columbine, Fight Club (its about time), The Shawshank Redemption, The Thirteenth Floor (expect many a Matrix reference), Basic, The Hunted, 12 Angry Men and a review on the current status of Survivor and The Apprentice (Go Nick!). I also finished 3001: The Final Odyssey, so that re...

I’ve appealed to every Kids in the Hall fan I know, so maybe somebody out there in the internet world can help me with my query. After visiting Tink in Guelph, and watching an In Living Color sketch where Jim (or James) Carrey parodied Vanilla Ice, I decided to download some sketches of my own. Tink watches a lot of SNL, but when I grew up, I watched Kids in the Hall and In Living Color, which brings us to my latest downloading infatuation. During my Communication Breakdown, I also began to do...

It seems like life has taken a turn for the better. Today was probably the best day since I was voted out of the Leaside Tribe. Lately, things have not been so good. I’ve been working like an iron horse (who likes to sleep a lot), trying to get my room finished. For eight months, I’ve been trying to finish my room. AND... (trumpets flare) IT HAS BEEN COMPLETED! The only tasks left, are to vacuum up 8 months worth of dust and crumbs, hang my Argos flag over my blind (to ensure total darkness...

It appears that in my last post, I skipped that last week entirely. So I've decided to strike fear into the other people in my head and explain why I have been in a no bloggy mood. So we've got Tink withdrawal, which is a kick in the shins, but we've also got some issues that have been messing with my mind. First off, lets just bypass the "I have no job. What am I going to do? Im getting lonely sitting in my room everyday playing the game of life by myself watching caddyshack over and over a...

Is this mic still on? I presume everybody has gone home by now, but it's time for an encore anyways. MooooooooonRIVER!!!!!! Let's see. It's been about 2 weeks since my last blog. Since everyone has left, I'll explain all of this to myself. Reading week came, and I found myself scrambling around trying to meet lost and forgotten friends. I spent most of that week out on the town, or in my bed recuperating. After Tink left for Guelph, the shit hit the fan. My Windows XP Problems became ...

I'll admit that I have a small sense of pride after 100 articles. I tend to lose interest in things over time, but this seems to be one that can hold my interest. Now whether thats' because I enjoy it, or that I enjoy the taste of fame, when my name or an article appears on the bar at the right....I haven't figured out. I hope I do before 200.

Only if he plays the ace, that I am certain is up his sleeve. You wait and see. 5 days before election, he will announce that Osams Bin Laden has been captured. I believe he has already been captured, and Bush is just holding him in secret, until the polls take a nose-dive. Nobody can find Osama, because nobody is looking in the basement of Langley. I will admit I have not been following the presidential running as closely as others on this site. I can state for a fact, that there are oth...

Well that was fucking pathetic. When Conan was asked about the material he would be doing, he stated that he would just be doing the show up here. I'm sorry but I didn't notice any of this pandering last week. It's great that you're in Toronto, and I'm a big fan of the show, but this is no good. We payed you the big bucks, to come here, promote Toronto, and bring some laughter to the city. We didn't ask you to force-feed us mindless Canadian dribble, that we've heard throughout our lives. You ...

It appears that I can't add comments to any of the other blogs. Normally I try to avoid submitting comments, because most of the topics on this site are very politically oriented. I do however find myself with a few comments, and nowhere to post them. Most of them, well all of them, wouldn't really change the world. On NickyG's Blog , I've had a few comments to make so here they are. For Fifty Ways to Leave Your Lover: Most mornings I tend to wake up, and all of my thoughts are in song mode...

ITS BEEN EIGHT FUCKING DAYS!!! Are we still talking about Janet Jackson’s nipples? First off, I agree with many of the other users on this site when I say, there are worse things in the world to worry about. My email inbox is full of disgusting crap, the streets are littered with provocative ads of underwear models, and perfume beauties, and yet, the world is still offended over an inch of flesh. Dave Navarro’s little joke at the Grammy’s where he exposed his nipple for photographers, might ha...

The last few days, I have been suffering major withdrawal. I don’t know why. It seems that everywhere I go, I see people smoking, AND ITS DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!!! I’m currently on my longest streak of 7 or 8 days. I seem to go one week, then break when I go out and party, then quit for a week, crack on party night. This weekend, however, I didn’t crack, and the week looks like I can make it until Tink gets back. She seems to bring me a surplus of strength. While this is all good that I’m on the roa...

Tonight, I had my first taste of university. It was finally time to tread to St. George, and endure my server training seminar. I had been having second thoughts about this whole thing, ever since it was postponed last week. By Wednesday, I was already thinking of bizarre situations where I would be liable, and eventually be sued, consequently ruining my life. Since there was nothing good on TV, I decided to attend anyways. When I arrived I found myself locked out of the building, along with...

For 3 hours I wasn’t able to log onto MSN Messenger. I tried everything in my power to see if my computer had a virus, but all the system checks and virus scans came back negative. I was able to use the internet, and looked up the status of Messenger on the msn.com website. It said that the system was up and running, but I still couldn’t get on. At around 1:30am, I became frustrated and just kept clicking “Retry,” on the error windows. I found that after the 4th click , I signed in. I found in s...

Excellent. Excellent. Excellent. Lisa Beach and Sarah Katzman, yep I waited til the credits, did an excellent job in casting this movie. I love Pruitt Taylor Vince, and he was a little too convincing as Malcolm Rivers, with his crazy, crazy eyes. In most movies, good casting occurs, when you don’t notice that you’re actually watching actors. This can become hard with big names like John Cusack and Alfred Molina (The Doc Oc himself). Thankfully, these actors were good at their roles. ...

This link opens to the The Movie Network website. Fear not the link. Ever since we got TMN, I’ve been trying to keep of all the mini-series, series, and specials, that come and go. I missed the early chapters of some of them, and was unable to get into the story (The Sopranos), some i jumped right in, and kept watching (Slings & Arrows). There were a few, that I didn’t like at all (Curb Your Enthusiasm, Angels in America), and some that I loved (Band of Brothers, Dead Like Me). Recent...
