And who do you think that man was? None other than the mighty duck himself. EMILIOOOO! First off, I like Emilio. He seems like a nice guy. He is the king of Sunday afternoon movies. Ducks, Repo Men, Young Guns, Another Stakeout, watched them all when there was nothing better to do in the world. But after catching the last 10 videos of VH1's “Top 80 of the 80's” last night, I couldn’t help but notice his creepy, somewhat erotic relationship with the camera. I’ve watched the entire run throug...

As I think back over my life thus far, there have been many memorable moments. There was the explosion at the gas station, the destruction of the Canada Wire building and my argument with God where I had control of the weather for 15 minutes, but one of my favourite stories to tell is about the Exploding Foam Factory. I normally like to tell stories in person, because then I can add in voices, sound effects, hand movements, and I’m also able to tell if my audience is becoming bored, which would ...

I can’t believe I forgot the All-Star Skills Competition was on tonight!!! Damn. Well, it looks like my night’s going to be All-Star, Identity, Fight Club and Willard. Busy Busy!!!!! So much to watch, so little time! Damn. I wanted to play a little Vice City tonight, and write up some stuff. Well let’s see if we can fit it all in. I vow to write up a review for Fight Club, and any other movie I watch tonight, and to finally divulge my Exploding Foam Factory story. I’ve been wanting to write that...

Today was my day to drive the car. I drove down to the U of T to drop off my sound effects for the tech rehearsal, then ran some errands. I had to go to Best Buy to pick up some blank CDs for my week of burning, and to rent a movie, because it looks like TV is gonna suck tonight. I went out of my way to shoot down the Bayview extension. The car's been acting up lately, sometimes chugging, sometimes the engine light comes on. My mom lectured me about taking it easy, but she doesn't understand Pan...

Oh this is too good. Too damn good. I loaded the Joeuser homepage yesterday, trying to find out what was going on and BAM! There it was, for all the world to see. Probably the most personal blog yet, my review of The Butterfly Effect was at the top of the homepage. I was absolutely blown away. I wasn't aware that articles could just be posted, but I'm glad that's how the system works. Otherwise, it wouldn't have been so fantastic. It's funny how I've written a couple of reviews already and the ...

I just met with Peter, to discuss the sound cues for the plays next week. Literally, like 5 minutes ago. I'm actually blogging at my mother's work. Maybe that's why things are working.....Well I found out that the cues I sent him, were half good. The other half were too short, but that doesn't matter because we ended up choosing different sounds today, when we went through the theatre's catalogue. Now I just sit back and make some CDs. Easy as cake. The exciting part of the meeting was that ...

JACK moves L-R across crowded Ballroom - CAMERA TRACKS with him to LLOYD serving behind bar. JACK sits at bar. LLOYD moves to him. JACK Hi Lloyd. I've been away. Now I'm back. LLOYD Good evening Mr. Torrance. LLOYD puts dishes of olives and peanuts on bar before JACK. CUT TO: M.S. JACK over LLOYD. LLOYD ...

Well I'm still testing whether articles appear. I sure hope this one turns up.

If any of the following lacks coherence, or seems like utter nonsense. It might be because my writing has started to focus on pleasing me, and not others. Just like every other part of my life, this is probably a phase, and I wouldn’t be surprised to find my next postings to be exactly the same as last week’s. Well......this is going to be hard. I guess I should start off my giving a few warnings. I am not going to talk about anything that happened in the movie. It seems ironic calling this a...

My ears hurt. I have been listening to thunder sound effects for 2 FREAKIN' HOURS!!!!!! It turns out my thunderstorm cd, has too much white noise on it, so everything sounds scratchy. I'm now looking through kazaa. The best I've found so far is the Thunder THX Opening, but I don't think I can use it because of the trademark noise right after. I woke up this morning before noon, which was nice. Definetely better than yesterday's eye-opening at 4:30pm. It's 3 now, and I've already watched "Mean...

After realizing that I had to read through each blog to find each reference, I glanced over and saw I had 79 articles. 79!!!! How did it get so long? Well FUCK THAT! I’m not reading over 79 articles, full of information I already know. Unh Unh. Not gonna do it. I decided that I’d go halfway and make a list of references in my titles. Some are blatantly obvious, some aren’t. This is the most effort that I decided to give. I also vetoed my plan to reference each article a week later. First off, it...

First off Muggaz was right. It seems I wasn't all blogged out. What seemed like a paragraph in my head, turned into that! I have got to learn to just shut up once in a while. There's a new roll down menu in the post-blog area, which I'm sure most of you already know, and so far it has only annoyed me. Once I write the post, I choose the category. How do you know what you're going to end up writing? But when the page refreshes, I lose all my material. God Bless Alt + Left Arrow. I also read thro...

I think I'm all blogged out. After a long blogging bender, I seem to be out of real, emotion driven topics. Normally, a person would just not blog, but I've developed a taste for it. An addiction, you might say. Things have happened, don't get worried. I think I'm just too stressed to actually be passionate about anything right now. I searched the entire Ontario job listings and found only 2 jobs. It looks like Best Buy or Blockbuster might be an all too real situation. The Ontario Film Archives...

Today, we talk about Superbowl and Survivor. Superbowl was boring. I can't watch football on TV, especially American football. The game is just too damn slow. Challenges, more penalties than there are rules, and mindless dribble. I knew it was downhill right from the beginning, "This is the last and biggest game of the season, and is also the most anticipated." No shit. The commercials were alright. Budweiser, as always, came through in glowing fashion, and The Alamo trailer was ok. I also th...

I finally have a valid reason to watch Groundhog Day . I've probably seen this film, more than 20 times, so I guess with all the repeats in the film, I've heard "Sweet Vermouth on the rocks with a twist" at least 100 times. This is one of those movies that has an excellent replay value. The best part about the movie though, is the casting. Everybody plays their part beautifully, Murray is excellent as the egotistical, snappy comeback kind. Macdowell is great as the sweet, innocent producer, an...
