First off, this article would not have happened if it weren't for RedShirt#3. After doing the Leader Test, and the Classic Movie Test. I must admit, I felt very cool. So cool, that I wanted to grab the keys to the car, my Steppenwolf CD, and head out along those long and lonesome roads of.....Downtown Toronto. Didn't matter where, just felt like doing something awesome. I took the Leader Test, and after seeing RedShirt#3 come out as Hitler, and Mack as Saddam, I was relieved, and pro...

This week, I decided to focus on a good, family targeted movie that I love to watch. "Door to Door" is a docudrama about Bill Porter's struggle to live a normal life. Born with Cerebral Palsy, Bill struggled throughout life. Living with his mother, Bill set out to find work, to help support his loving mother. He soon found that, once again, Cerebral Palsy had crippled his life. He was considered unemployable, but due to his immense courage and determination, he was able to obtain a job...

For those of you who started thinking about Austin Powers, I hate you. However, if that brought fond memories of Sammy Davis Jr. and an attractive Goldie Hawn standing on a psychadelic stage, yay for you! Yesterday, my aunt stayed at our house as a pitstop, en route, to a seminar she was attending outside of Toronto. I had to go to work that night, so thankfully I knew that I wouldn't be bored to death, while my aunt and mother talked about people, who have been dead for 20 years. I pho...

With the recent jumbling of the Top Ten Sites ladder, I found myself very close to the coveted 10 position. I really want to make it to 10. Not because I want to be ranked higher than other people, but mostly because I would love to see my name on the menu bar. If I ever make it into a top ten, I'm taking a picture and that's that. I have no ambition to become the best on Joeuser, because I know I'm not the best. There are many bloggers here, who have unmistakable talent when it comes to writ...

Before we get into things, I would like to state that "Milkdrop" is not a movie. It is a gift from the visual gods. Adam let me in on this little gem. Milkdrop is a visualization for Winamp and it is amazing!!!! Before I knew of MD, I watched "Battery: Randomization" on Windows Media Player. It was pretty cool. The rotating windmill, and the endless tunnels were highly addictive, and provided another excuse to sit in front of my computer for an hour, staring at my screen. MD, however, c...

Well, everyone is pretty much officially back. I finally got to see Adam, and we went out to play pool. When we were at the pool hall we saw Shane and his friend Adam. It was sort of like Shane and I decided that this was "Play pool with an Adam night." I got to play a little sniper scope 2 at Coronations, which was a lot crappier than the original. We went back to his place, and watched Driven. We both knew it was crap, but Adam's house has an excellent surround sound system, so we figu...

Yesterday was one sweet ass day. I went to work down at the U of T, unloading costumes for my mom. I spent the entire day, walking around with Frou Frou's "Let Go" dancing through my thoughts. The new space that the costumes have moved into, is so much nicer. It isn't 1000 degrees, and you dont have to climb a huge flight of stairs to find what you want. The props rooms are going to look great, and the building is closer to the theatre than the old one. I met a nice girl while I was sorting c...

12 hours of almost uninterrupted sleep. Hot Diggity! I went to bed last night at 4:30am and got out of bed today at 4:20pm. How fitting. My body is still in a constant state of satisfaction, and my head feels so clear. Sinus wise, and mentality wise. I also won't have to worry about being hungry, because before I went to bed, I stuffed myself to a point of acceptable misery. Now I drink pineapple juice and catch up on blogs while listening to Psycho Killer and Schnitzelbank. Vas dat a long...

I first heard about Garden State when Zach Braff was interviewed on Leno. He was pretty much there to hype Mikey J. Fox's upcoming appearance on Scrubs, but he did mention that he had made a movie based on all the tall tales he had heard as a child. The concept peaked me interest, but from there, I never heard of it again...... Until I saw Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. The trailer was on before the movie. (Saved! was also featured before the movie and that looks good too.) I not...

I was about to submit a blog tonight about my night out, and how good my dinner was. I realized that most of the post had drifted away from a "Life Journal" perspective, and "stuck" to more of a Food Review. I figured that this would go under a Food and Drink category but didn't find one. Now I wasn't fully expecting to find a selection titled, "Food Review," but I couldn't really find anything related to food. While this might not be a problem for most of you, it presents a dilemma for m...

Its been a few months since my last Matrix binge, but like the non-stop Blair Witch cycle, it is time, once again, for a little more Neo in my life. Strangely enough, this desire wasn't ignited with the DVD release of Revolutions , but with my random choice of a CD. Sometimes I just like to choose a CD at random, put it on, and see how long it takes before I guess which CD it is. This one (Reloaded) was a no brainer, since it included the opening credits. I started getting into a Matrix moo...

I returned to Yahoo Games today to check out the most recent games that I could play. Zuma and Inspector Parker were excellent, but Cubis and Dynomite were terrible. Glinx was alright, but Noah's Ark is the better version. Why? Because it has animal sounds!!!!! Noah's Ark is a upside-down game of memory that involves linking two pictures together through an unobstructed field. The challenge is to remove all of the animals "2 by 2" before the water reaches Noah's Ark. If you remove similar ...

Well, last night I went to see the play, which turned out to be Picasso au lapin agile(?) by Steve Martin, and it was absolutely excellent. Good mindmessing play. I got home eventually and watched my Survivor, and decided to watch a bit of The Apprentice because there was nothing on. I watched a bit of it, but decided to stop so that Tink and I could watch it together when she got back. Yet, I had this ominous feeling that I was going to find out who won, the next day. I woke up this morning ...

What has been called one of the greatest tragedies of histories, is still lurking in our minds more than 90 years later. Most famous for the ignorance of the upper class, the sinking of the Titanic shook the world as the "unsinkablt" luxury liner, went down near Newfoundland. An iceberg ripped through the hull, as the Titanic pompously speeded through the icy waters at 21 knots. With only enough lifeboats to save half the passengers and crew because they cluttered the deck area, 745 were...

Tonight I am going to the theatre with Shane. We've decided to go see the school play, and make a few pick-ups throughout our journey. This will be the first time that I set foot inside Leaside since I finished school. The closest that I've come to the school since my departure was driving down Eglinton, and passing the north driveway. I'll probably see a bunch of people I don't care about, but hopefully there will be the odd happy point. Maybe I'll see Kevin or Duane. It will be nice to see ...
